Kanica graduated with Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFU) in 2009 from India. She has done Masters in Physiotherapy (Neurological Disorders) from HNB University from India.
She is registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario and has completed further courses in Neurodevelopmental techniques, Mulligan concept, Muscle Energy Technique and Soft Tissue Release. She has worked as Head of Department at BVP Handicap Center and Clinical Physiotherapist and Assistant Professor in All Saints Institute of Medical Sciences and Research in India.
Kanica specializes in neurological disorders, such as traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, Parkinson’s, multiple sclerosis to name a few.
